Born and raised in the beautiful state of Idaho, I’ve always been deeply connected to the local community and the values that come with it — hard work, integrity, and taking pride in what you do.
Over the years, I’ve built a fulfilling career in human resources, gaining hands-on experience in benefits administration, employee engagement, recruiting, payroll, compliance, and day-to-day people operations. I’ve had the opportunity to work with companies across a range of industries, supporting everything from HRIS implementation and workforce planning to employee relations and tough, real-world people situations.
Alongside my professional experience, I’ve spent years closely connected to trade-based and contractor businesses through family and personal relationships. I’ve seen firsthand how these businesses really operate — long days, tight margins, managing crews, and trying to keep the work moving while handling people issues on the side. That perspective has shaped how I approach HR: practical, realistic, and respectful of your time.
As a SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional), I’m committed to staying current on HR best practices and employment standards. More importantly, this ensures the guidance I provide is grounded in nationally recognized standards while still being practical and applicable to small businesses.
Through this journey, I discovered my passion: helping businesses succeed by taking the pressure off the people side of the operation. I believe businesses run better when expectations are clear, employees feel supported, and owners aren’t left guessing how to handle difficult situations.
